Isuzu
Marukyu KoyamaenDescription
Recommended for making thin tea. Also perfect for mixing with milk or cream. Characterized by a good balance between a refreshing aroma, an astringent, mellow umami and a slightly bitter flavor. More pronounced than Aoarashi, Isuzu has a sharp and acidic undertone, rich in amino acids. When prepared with water at a lower temperature (70°C), the flavor softens significantly, reducing bitterness.
